The Holyhead Opportunities Trust is a community enterprise committed to the social, economic and environmental regeneration of Holyhead and Anglesey.
The Holyhead Opportunities Trust currently delivers the New Deal Voluntary Sector programme on Anglesey and Gwynedd and the Environmental Task Force for Gwynedd, which allows them to place 18 - 24 year old people and lone parents into 13 - 26 week work experience and provide training and job search.
The JOBS Project, Job Opportunities & Business Services, is a training programme which is also committed to getting people aged 18 - 59 years into sustainable employment. It provides the person with the training and work experience needed to find employment, businesses benefit from having extra staff for a small service charge.
Work Based Learning is for young people aged 16 - 18 years and adults up to 59 years. This provides basic skills and key skills for those who have not gained any qualifications and will work with them to find employment, work experience and training.
The Holyhead Opportunities Trust also offers a service to businesses and community organisations e.g. Photocopying, business cards, posters etc and they also hire out function rooms.
