The Board
The Holyhead Forward Board has been created in order to oversee the delivery of the Holyhead Forward Regeneration Strategy. The Board meets every six months. It is an informal partnership body and has a similar status to the Anglesey Economic Regeneration Partnership. Board members include senior representatives from the local community, local businesses and the public sector.
Independent Chair
The Board was initially chaired by the County Council's Managing Director. Steve Jones was appointed independnt board chair in March 2005, following a public invitation and open selection process, and served until April 2009. He is originally from Holyhead, lives on Anglesey and has strong family connections with the town. He worked as a director of the Pennaf Housing Group, and has now become Chief Excutive of Tai Ceredigion. The role of temporary Board Chair is being undertaken by Cllr John Chorlton, as he is chair of the Holyhead Forward Strategy Group.

Board Meetings
The board has been meeting since 2005. The next Board meeting will be held on Thursday the 1st July 2010 2pm. Further meetings are planned on Friday 15th October 2010 10am, and Friday 15th April 2011 10am
