The Board
The Holyhead Forward Board has been created in order to oversee the delivery of the Holyhead Forward Regeneration Strategy. The Board meets every six months. It is an informal partnership body and has a similar status to the Anglesey Economic Regeneration Partnership. Board members include senior representatives from the local community, local businesses and the public sector.
Independent Chair
The Board was initially chaired by the County Council's Managing Director. A new independent chair was appointed in March 2005, following a public invitation and open selection process. He is originally from Holyhead, lives on Anglesey and has strong family connections with the town. He works as a director of the Pennaf Housing Group, who have agreed to his release from his paid employment as Group Director of Community Services to attend Board meetings. The Board has recently agreed to create a Vice-Chair from among Board members, and Alan Darroch has been appointd to this role. He works as a Financial Director of Holyhead Boatyard. These roles as Board Chair and Vice Chair are unpaid.

Board Meetings
