Wales - A Vibrant Economy (WAVE)
This is an economic development strategy for Wales. The chair of the Holyhead Forward Board submitted written comments to the Welsh Assembly Government welcoming the document and requesting some specific additions and amendments. Copy available here : Wales a Vibrant Economy
Wales Spatial Plan
This document is intended to be a strategic spatial development plan for Wales. The 2008 update plan specifically identifies Holyhead as an economic hub and regeneration area, and emphasises the importance of its role as a gateway between the UK and Ireland. Mon a Menai Action Plan
The Welsh Assembly has announced a special strategy to address economic challenges in the Anglesey and Gwynedd area, which is backed up with £15M of additional funding over 3 years.
